Specifications of Clark Forklifts
Kinds
Clark makes an array of forklift trucks including narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The various models differ when it comes to the way they operate. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use within warehouses and various other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
According to the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can differ. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are used to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustible engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion kinds have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
